I always expect RSL to score twice at home, and the instant I see them hosting a match it’s the first thing that goes through my mind. So, when I see San Jose cruising into town for a midweek encounter, it certainly doesn’t make me think the Quakes will stop it from happening again.
San Jose has had both teams score and 3 goals in the net in 10 of their 13 road games this season. In fact, from the 18 road games played in all competitions this year, only once has San Jose stopped their opponents from scoring at least once.
It is hard for me to fathom less than a 2 – 1 result here, and as you all know by now I am never scared to have my action pushed/voided to live another day. I do not think they will get stuck on 3 goals, as the playoff push us underway and both of these teams are in the thick of it!
There is no room to sit back and wait for things to happen with valuable points on the line and only a handful of games to play for both teams after this affair.
Hopefully, the first half opens up and brings us some scoring, although we also have to prepare for a 1 – 0 first-half with things opening up in the second frame. As much fun as it would be to watch them go out and give us all three in the first half an hour of the match, but if it was that easy? Ahh yeah, imagine!
